Porridge bowls are my absolute favourite choice when it comes to breakfast. They are super versatile and most importantly, will fill you up so that you are ready to take on the day.
My go-to, quick and easy recipe will make you excited to get out of bed. It is packed full of flavour and can easily be adapted to add your favourite toppings.
Makes 1 portion.
- 1 cup Plant-Based Milk
- 0.5 cup Porridge Oats
- 1 tsp Light Brown Sugar
- 0.25 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1 Chopped Banana
- 0.5 cup Frozen Berries
Bring the milk to the boil in a saucepan.
I used almond milk but you can use any milk you like.
Add the porridge oats and mix for 5 minutes until the oats are thick and creamy.
Add the sugar and cinnamon and mix.
Serve in a bowl and add the chopped banana, frozen berries, some sultanas and a drizzle of syrup to finish it off.
